Welcome to St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School

St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School is a vibrant and faith-filled part of the Bayridge community, connecting our families, neighborhood, and St. Paul the Apostle Parish. Located at 1044 Lancaster Drive, we are proud to accompany students on their educational journey from Kindergarten through Grade 8, guided and supported by our dedicated educators and staff.

At St. Teresa of Calcutta, we cherish the partnership between home, school, and parish as we work together to create a caring, inclusive, and Christ-centered learning environment. Inspired by the words of our patron saint — “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love” — we strive each day to nurture hearts, minds, and spirits with compassion and faith.

Our Mission

Be the living expression of God's kindness;

kindness of your eyes;

kindness in your smile;

kindness in your warm greeting.

Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.

Positive School Climate and Well-Being

The ALCDSB is dedicated to creating and promoting positive school climate and well-being in all of our schools. Respecting the dignity of all persons by fostering trusting relationships through policies and practices that promote equity, inclusion and diversity are at the core of our Catholic values, the Board's spiritual theme of Faith in Action and our provincial Catholic Graduate Expectations. A positive school climate is directly linked to student success and well-being ensuring students are motivated to do well and will realize their full potential. We are committed to sustaining healthy and nurturing communities of belonging that are safe, caring and respectful and built on the principles of restorative practice and progressive discipline.

The ALCDSB and its school communities engage in a whole school approach in putting prevention and intervention strategies in place to facilitate a positive relationship between students, staff, parents and community partners.

Students and staff work together each year to produce our plan. We reflect on our school climate survey results and invite feedback from all stakeholders to prioritize our key strategies for promoting a positive school climate for all.
